TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

CLEVVA is designed to operate as an organisational Virtual Advisor Platform (VAP). A VAP looks to capture decision making logic that is currently outside of operating systems, into shareable, searchable and re-usable logic objects called VAs. VAs can then be accessed by people who need to make these decisions, as and when required. The power of VAs is that they are data sensitive, so if the operating system has any data that should influence the decision taken, this data can be fed into the platform via an API. If not, the VA can rely on the person to provide this input, and will then ensure that based on the contxt, the user is guided to make the correct decision, or take the correct action, based on current product, policy, procedure and system rules and guidelines. The result is that, wherever operating systems rely on human decision-making, and where decision errors create system problems, you can now solve this risk by building and deploying relevant VAs.

WHERE CLEVVA FITS INTO YOUR EXISTING IT ARCHITECTURE

The CLEVVA Platform can either be hosted in the Cloud or On Premise and is made up of the business domain and the IT domain. The business domain is where business users can author, deploy and use VA’s while the IT domain is where the IT Engineers will look after the CLEVVA databases, security and integration with 3rd party systems.

The intuitive, user-friendly backend offers design templates and click and drag features that enable business users to build, manage and track VA’s.

Backend users are typically made up of Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Administrators that don’t need to have any coding or other technical skills to unlock CLEVVA.

Once the VA’s have been built, they can be deployed so that targeted end users can access them, either through a Web Browser, or via Bots or Apps that can be deployed to any internet enabled device. VA’s can also be embedded into existing systems through an iFrame or run from a Desktop using the Stay-On-Top Windows Application or Chrome Extension.

IT Engineers typically manage the CLEVVA database and user security. This ensures that the data off which many VAs will drive their logic remains correct and up-to-date.

3rd party systems can be integrated with CLEVVA using the API to allow known data to be synchronised with the CLEVVA database as well as the CLEVVA Reports database to be integrated into a Data Warehouse.

CLEVVA helps organisations move rapidly from manual processes that rely entirely on human judgement to processes that can be guided to ensure consistent, accurate and tracked execution, irrespective of the person performing that process.

This includes first supporting users by guiding them through every business process; then actively managing the process workflow across different users to ensure that each part of the process is completed by the relevant person.

Once the business wishes to then fully automate processes i.e. remove human involvement entirely, this logic is typically moved across to relevant operating systems or robotic engines.

In summary, CLEVVA is specifically positioned to help you rapidly move from manual to managed processes. Once you plan to automate, you then hand over to relevant operating systems.

Note: The speed and agility of VA building does however offer you a cost effective way to test new process logic innovations, before then adopting them as standard.

HOW YOU CAN USE CLEVVA TO PLUG EXISTING DECISION SUPPORT GAPS

Within existing system realities, you will find gaps in how end user decisions are supported. CLEVVA offers you an effective way of plugging these shortcomings without necessarily having to replace systems.
